The Shooting Sports: My Story and Intentions

Let me introduce myself. I'm relatively new to shooting and will be the first the admit that I'm definitely still a novice when it comes to the shooting sport. I've been interested in the shooting sports, since I was a kid. A few years ago, I saw a Marlin 795 rifle in my local Dick's circular going for $99 after mail-in-rebate, and I thought to myself "why the heck not!"

Needless to say, after going to my local range for the first time, I fell in love with the sport. I definitely had a blast (yes that was a bad pun). After some time though, I wanted to move on from plinking with a 22LR and moved on to an AR-15 chambered in .223/5.56 and a 9mm handgun. Shortly thereafter came the realization that this sport can get really expensive!

Ammo, scopes, storage, AR parts, cleaning supplies, accessories, lessons, range time, etc. It all adds up, and soon enough you will find yourself looking for bargains where ever you can. So here I am today, scouring the internet daily for deals on ammo, accessories, firearms, and various other things to support the hobby that I love. Then I got the idea that I might as well blog about the deals that I find and my experience with certain products that I've run across as well to share the love so to speak.

This blog will be dedicated to finding particular deals across the web as well as sharing my thoughts, good and bad) on particular products. If anyone has any recommendations or feedback, feel free to drop those in the comments section.

Happy shooting all!
